Honey, milk, orchid, heliotrope, violet, osmanthus, magnolia, jasmine and lily of the valley compose a centre that is creamy and softly powdery. Caramel, vanilla, patchouli, toffee, incense, sandalwood, amber and tonka bean close it in full gourmand richness. The incense is the saving grace, threading a line of dry smoke through all that caramel and toffee so the base has some structure of its own rather than pure sugar.
